Inspiration and Advice for Your Idea and Book: #BBNYC Twitter Party Highlights!

by admin on July 8, 2011

We are still smiling and feeling so inspired by all the incredible people who participated in last night’s Book Breakthrough NYC (#bbnyc) Twitter Party! The turnout was great, our guest experts were so inspiring, and the energy and conversations were nothing short of amazing. We are still in awe at all the connections and interactions that happened between everyone who was there!

We were inspired to throw the #bbnyc Twitter Party as a celebration of all of the success stories that have happened since Book Breakthrough 2010, our inaugural event that was held just over a year ago. We’ve seen such amazing progress from our alumni who attended that first event – authors who have not only completed their books, but have published, launched, and become category bestsellers. Not only that, our alumni have grown their tribes, launched their blogs, redesigned their websites, generated new business and expanded their speaking careers – we could go on and on!

In addition to celebrating all of those accomplishments, we threw last night’s #bbnyc party to celebrate YOU – your idea, book and the message you’re meant to spread!  And, to give you an opportunity to connect with top publishing insiders, bestselling authors and thought leaders – some of our special guests at Book Breakthrough NYC 2011 – and to give you a taste of the transformation and results that are possible at our event.

If you couldn’t join us or want to soak in the amazing advice one more time, here’s the recording link from last night’s party (including the announcement about our bonus Bring-a-Friend ticket if you register by this Saturday, July 9 at 11:59 pm ET):

Sarah Robinson (@SarahRobinson), award-winning blogger and founder of Escaping-Mediocrity.com

Todd Kashdan (@ToddKashdan), bestselling author of Curious? Discover the Missing Ingredient to a Fulfilling Life

And… it’s not a Twitter Party without fabulous prizes, which we had plenty of. Seven lucky partygoers won over $1,900 in books and programs, including copies of Janet’s Publishing Reset Program, Elizabeth’s Spread Your Message, Sell Your Book Home Study, and the grand prize – a 30-minute publishing strategy session with us!

Finally, a special thank you to the amazing Karl Staib of Party Biz Connect who graciously hosted last night’s Twitter Party. He kept the party lively, handled all the prize drawings, and made sure everyone had a great time while they were learning!

We trust that our #bbnyc party inspired you to take bigger and bolder steps to get your message and book out to the world.  And, we hope to see you later this month in New York for Book Breakthrough NYC on July 28-30.

Don’t forget: The deadline for the bonus Bring-a-Friend ticket is this Saturday, July 9th at 11:59pm! http://www.bookbreakthrough.com/workshop/register
